Every so often, those with responsibility for career management in the business school community come across one or more individuals who are identified - or who identify themselves - as wanting or needing extra help or individual tuition in some aspect of personal development covered by one of our workshops. The key is to recognise that people differ enormously in their background, culture, mindset, personality and skill set and to acknowledge that a task which is easy for one person may seem like an insurmountable hurdle for another.
